Ahem. Chance isn't up for comments at the moment but I think I can answer on his behalf. The dress is plain and simple, not pertaining and relating to any specific Earthen culture. Though it does have the soft and thin material of a nightgown.
Chance doesn't really care about winning anything, but if it's to beat Cresil then he thinks he should win because the colors are complementary and the dress isn't too extravagant. (Chance where are you get over here right now I should not have to speak what you're saying. >:I)

Sorry that this isn't completely centered on Chance's dress. I wish I could make it bigger but I have to work on a few things before the year ends.

P.S. The flower in Chancey's hair is a carnation. Took me forever to remember the name of it. o_o;;
